Self-assembling dessert box 150×120×80 mm: premium packaging for a coffee shop and patisserie
This 150×120×80 mm self-assembling box was produced for a coffee shop and patisserie — takeaway packaging for desserts and confectionery. The box is die-cut from a single blank and assembles without glue: boxes are delivered flat, take up minimal storage space and fold together in seconds right at the counter. The lid locks with closing flaps, and the notches on the sides make the box easy for the customer to open.
The box is made of GC1 cellulose cardboard with a density of 305 g/m² — a material with a coated face and a white reverse side, widely used in cardboard packaging for food products. The dense cardboard holds its shape and protects the contents, while the white inner surface looks clean and neat when the box is opened.
The box is printed offset with Pantone spot colours in a 3+2 scheme: three colours on the face side and two on the reverse. The solid plum-burgundy background and the mint logo create a contrasting, recognisable brand identity. Spot colours are checked against the Pantone guide, so the brand colour is reproduced consistently across the whole print run. The inside of the box is printed as well: the brand mark sits on a white background — a detail typical of premium packaging that reinforces the impression at the moment of opening. All inks are approved for food packaging, which is essential for the confectionery industry.
The face side is protected with matte roll lamination: the matte film gives the surface a deep, velvety look without glare and protects the print from abrasion and moisture in everyday handling. This finish brings custom cardboard packaging into the premium segment at a moderate cost.
For packaging projects, Pergament offers a library of more than 3,000 ready-made cutting dies: in many cases a suitable structure can be selected from existing dies, saving on tooling, and when needed a custom structure is developed for the product.
Order type — packaging. Full production cycle in Chisinau (Moldova): prepress, offset printing with Pantone spot colours, matte roll lamination, die-cutting. Finished boxes are delivered flat and assemble without glue.
