Four case studies from our PrintEffect production system: who ordered, what exactly, in what quantity and in how many days. The figures come from the technical specifications of 2024–2026 orders; clients are named with their consent, one case is anonymous until consent is received. Product photos will be added as they are agreed with the clients.
Case 1. Star Kebab — fast-food packaging ordered again and again
- Client: Star Kebab SRL, fast-food chain, Chișinău; working with us since 2014 — 103 orders.
- Task: disposable cardboard packaging for dine-in and delivery: French-fries packaging, a “baby box” for the kids’ meal, trays.
- Structure: self-locking boxes and trays die-cut with our own dies; baby box 210×125×110 mm.
- Quantity: French-fries packaging — 50,000 pcs per run (August 2024, February and June 2025, January 2026); baby box — six runs of 3,000–5,000 pcs since 2024; trays — 10,000–22,000 pcs.
- Lead time: a repeat run of 5,000 baby boxes (January 2026) — 13 days from order to dispatch; 50,000 French-fries packs in January 2026 — 28 days.
- Why it works: the dies and the technical specification are kept in the system, so a repeat order starts without a new quotation or make-ready — the manager confirms the quantity and production takes the previous order’s job card.
Case 2. Viorica-Cosmetic — 96 cosmetics packaging orders in two and a half years
- Client: Viorica-Cosmetic SA, cosmetics manufacturer (Viorica and Cosmeplant brands), Chișinău.
- Task: cartons for creams, masks, peelings and gift sets; dozens of SKUs in the range, each with its own size and artwork.
- Structure: folding cartons for bottles and jars (50×50×165, 55×55×140, 62×54×112 mm and others), a carton with an insert for three cream types 45×60×145 mm, gift-set boxes Cosmeplant For Men 155×70×200 and 175×55×200 mm.
- Quantity: from 550 pcs for a gift set to 14,500 pcs for a peeling carton; “45×45×100 mm carton, 10 versions” — 40,000 pcs in a single order (March 2026).
- Lead time: gift sets, 3,000 pcs — 16 days; cartons with an insert, 4,400 pcs — 26 days; standard cartons, 5,500 pcs — 23–25 days.
- Why it works: 96 orders since January 2024; every new size goes through the 30-minute prototype and stays in the database, so a reprint or “two more versions” starts in days, not weeks.
Case 3. Dulcinella — boxes for a confectionery chain in runs of 40–50 thousand
- Client: Dulcinella SC SRL, confectionery chain, Chișinău.
- Task: boxes for cakes and pastry, round cake boards, a Swiss-roll box, quality certificates and stickers — all from one supplier and in one brand style.
- Structure: self-locking boxes 170×135×95 and 85×120×95 mm; Swiss-roll box 300×135 mm; lid-and-base box with a clear window 250×180×55 mm plus a sleeve; round Ø80 mm boards from greyboard.
- Quantity: boxes — 41,250 and 49,300 pcs (March 2026) and a repeat of 48,750 and 50,700 pcs (July 2026); boards — 10,000–20,000 pcs; Swiss-roll box — 3,500 pcs; A5 quality certificates — 20,000 pcs per run.
- Lead time: Swiss-roll box, 3,500 pcs — 22 days; boards, 10,000 pcs — 8 days; large box runs are delivered in batches to the client’s schedule.
- Why it works: a separate test die was made for the window (January 2026) — the structure was checked before the run; the repeat run three and a half months later went on the same technical specification.
Case 4. A winery — a wrapped single-bottle box in 12 days
- Client: a Moldovan winery (name and photos — after the client’s consent).
- Task: a gift box for one bottle for the souvenir range and export sets.
- Structure: 165×85×360 mm box, micro-flute lamination — a light rigid box with full-colour printing.
- Quantity: 1,500 pcs.
- Lead time: 12 days from the order entering production to the finished run (30.01–11.02.2026).
- Why it works: micro-flute lamination gives a rigid, full-colour-printed box at lower weight and cost than greyboard; details on the “Wine and spirits packaging” page.
What these cases have in common
In all four cases the client comes back: 93% of our orders come from clients who have worked with us before, and the technical specification of every run has been kept in the system since 2014 — a repeat needs no new quotation or make-ready.
