The task. Cosmetics manufacturer Viorica-Cosmetic (Viorica and Cosmeplant brands, Chișinău) needs cartons for creams, masks, peelings and gift sets. There are dozens of SKUs in the range, each with its own size and artwork.
The solution. Every new size goes through a prototype (from 30 minutes) and stays in the database. Then come folding cartons for bottles and jars, a carton with an insert, and gift-set boxes.
The result. 96 orders since January 2024. A reprint or “two more versions” starts in days, not weeks.

How the work went
- Prototype of a new size. The engineer designs the dieline in CAD, the plotter cuts the sample — it takes from 30 minutes, then the carton is assembled and tried on the bottle or jar.
- The size stays in the database. The approved construction is kept and can be reused at any time. If a matching shape already exists in our library of 3000+ ready-made cutting dies, you save on the die.
- Technical specification. Board, inks and die are fixed in the order’s technical specification, and a repeat run is printed from the same document. For a cosmetics brand this means stable brand colour from run to run.
- Reprints and new versions. When another run is needed or new versions join the range, the order starts from the stored data — in days, not weeks.
Why it works
Dozens of SKUs mean dozens of dielines and artworks. Every size is kept in the system together with its technical specification, and a repeat is printed from the same document: the same board, the same inks, the same die. Many of our clients work this way: 62.5% of them come back with repeat orders.
