Structures and sizes
Self-assembly structures fold without glue and save time on the filling line; glued cartons pass through a servo-driven folder-gluer — identical geometry across the run.

A new size goes through the prototype and stays in the database — "two more versions" start in days; ten versions of one 45 × 45 × 100 mm carton went out in a single 40,000-pc order.
Board and finishing
- Grades: GC1 (white back, highest whiteness and stiffness) — skincare, serums, selective lines; GC2 (cream back) — the mid-market workhorse; kraft — eco-cosmetics; grey-back recycled grades (GD) are almost never used in cosmetics. Board comes directly from producers in Europe and Asia.
- Grammage: 230–270 g/m² — tubes up to 50 ml, sachets; 270–325 g/m² — creams, serums, small glass jars; 350 g/m² and up — heavy bottles and large boxes.
- Printing: offset CMYK and Pantone, including the inner surfaces of the box; small runs — press-class digital.
- Finishing: matte, gloss or soft-touch lamination; spot UV varnish over matte lamination; hot foil stamping (gold, silver, holographic), embossing — on automatic machines, without extending the lead time.
As a rule, the material is already in stock. GC1 cartonboard 215–290 g/m² in several sheet sizes, 280 g/m² PE-coated board and lamination films (matte, gloss, soft-touch) — in our own warehouse, imported directly from mills in Europe and Asia. Folding carton or rigid box
A folding carton is die-cut from 250–400 g/m² paperboard and arrives flat — cheaper, more compact, the basis of serial lines. A rigid box is two parts of 1.5–3 mm bookbinding board wrapped with a printed sheet: it carries a glass bottle and feels like an object. For perfumery, sets and limited series — lid-and-base, shoulder/neck, hinged lid, magnetic flap, an insert for every bottle; line-assembled, from 30 pcs: VIP boxes for cosmetics.
When the board touches the product
Solid soap without an individual wrap, bath bombs, solid shampoo bars — direct contact between packaging and product. Same rules as in food packaging: virgin fibre only (GC1/GC2), adhesives and inks certified for contact, production hygiene. Our cartonboard packaging holds ANSP sanitary approval P-23739/2026 for food contact (valid until 4 August 2029); direct-contact cosmetics fall under the same compliance framework — food packaging certification.

- Send the bottle dimensions or the product itself, the quantity (ideally 2–3 options) and the logo; artwork is optional.
- Within a couple of hours — an operation-by-operation quote from our production system in 2–3 variants.
- Prototype from 30 minutes: CAD dieline and plotter-cut sample — €100 simple structure, €200 complex; credited towards a run ordered within 60 days.
- Printing, lamination, foil stamping, spot UV, die-cutting, window patching, gluing — at our own plant in Chisinau.
- Collect the run, or we store it and ship in batches on your schedule.
Questions and answers
Folding carton or rigid box — which one for cosmetics?
Serial lines of creams and tubes — a folding carton: cheaper, arrives flat. Perfumery and gift sets — a lid-and-base box with an insert, from 30 pcs. Not sure — prototypes of both and a quote in variants.
Will the brand colour and stiffness stay the same in the next run?
Yes. Every order's technological passport has been stored in the system since 2014: board grade, inks, cutting die, finishing. A repeat is printed from it, not from memory.
What happens if our manager changes — or yours?
Nothing. Order history, prices and remarks on past runs live in the system, not with a person.
How fast do you quote cosmetic packaging boxes in Chisinau?

How do I know what stage my order is at?
