The task. The Dulcinella confectionery chain (Chișinău) needs boxes for cakes and pastry, round cake boards, a Swiss-roll box, quality certificates and stickers — all from one supplier and in one brand style.

The solution. Self-locking boxes in two sizes, a Swiss-roll box, a lid-and-base box with a clear window, plus a sleeve. A separate test die was made for the window, and the structure was checked before the run.

The result. The boxes were produced in runs of 41,250 and 49,300 pcs (March 2026), and three and a half months later the repeat — 48,750 and 50,700 pcs — went on the same technical specification.

How the work went

  1. A test die for the window. In January 2026 a separate test die was made for the window — the structure was checked before the run.
  2. Self-locking boxes. Constructions like these are produced in series on our servo-driven folder-gluer rather than by hand, and the geometry of every box in the run is identical.
  3. A large run, delivered in batches. The run is printed at volume pricing, stored in our warehouse and dispatched in batches to the client’s schedule. The balance is visible in the system at any moment: how much is in stock and what has shipped.
  4. Repeat on the same specification. The repeat run three and a half months later went on the same technical specification: the same board, the same inks, the same die.

Steps 2 and 3 are the standard routine for orders like this; see the “Order process” page for details.

Why it works

A confectionery chain needs many different items in one style — from a cake box to a sticker. When everything is printed in one place, the artwork, the dies and the technical specifications sit in one system, and nothing needs re-approval for the next run. Board and inks are approved for food contact: ANSP sanitary approval P-23739/2026 — details on the food packaging certification page.
