Bookbinding board boxes made to order
Bookbinding board boxes — also known as rigid boxes or laminated (mounted) boxes — are premium rigid packaging that holds its shape permanently: a 1.5–3 mm board frame is covered with a printed liner. Lid-and-base designs, book-style boxes with a magnetic flap, boxes with a fitted insert — this class of packaging is chosen for delicacies, spirits, cosmetics, jewellery and corporate gifts.
The Pergament printing house (Chișinău) produces rigid boxes in a full cycle: structural design, liner mounting on bookbinding board, Pantone spot-colour printing, hot-foil stamping, soft-touch lamination. The order’s technological passport in PSystem guarantees that a repeat run will be exactly the same.

How to order
Send us your product dimensions and finishing preferences — we will propose a construction and materials and quote the run. A box prototype in 30 minutes lets you fit your product into the packaging before production starts, while a library of more than 3,000 ready-made cutting dies shortens the timeline and cost of the project.
Frequently asked questions
What is a bookbinding board box?
It is a rigid box: a frame made of 1.5–3 mm bookbinding board covered with a printed liner. It does not fold, holds its shape permanently and is perceived as premium packaging.
What finishing options are available?
Pantone spot-colour printing, hot-foil stamping, soft-touch and matte lamination, spot UV varnish, magnetic flaps, ribbons and inserts — we tailor the combination of techniques to your brand and budget.
Can I see a sample before the production run?
Yes: a prototype of the construction is cut on a plotter in about 30 minutes — you can fit your product into the box before any tooling is made.
