Pergament produces gift packaging for wine, divin (Moldovan brandy) and spirits in Chișinău, Moldova: rigid wrapped boxes for 1, 2 and 3 bottles, cases with an insert for the bottle and glasses, lid-and-base boxes with a window, bottle bags and export gift sets. Boxes are assembled on our own lid-and-base line (1,000–3,000 boxes per day), so we take both a serial run for an export lot and a small run for a winery’s souvenir range. A structural prototype in 30 minutes: try it with your bottle before the run starts.

What we make for wineries and distilleries

  • Single-bottle box — a vertical lid-and-base or telescopic box on 2–3 mm greyboard; sized to your bottle (for example 165×85×360 or 90×90×380 mm).
  • Box for 2–3 bottles — horizontal, with a divider insert; a “bottle + two glasses” version for gift sets and corporate gifts.
  • Magnetic case — hinged lid, foam insert lined with velvet or flock; for limited and collector’s editions.
  • Lid and base with a window — the bottle is visible through a clear window; for the winery shop shelf and duty free.
  • Tube — a cylindrical cardboard case for one bottle; on request.
  • Bottle bags — laminated board with ribbon handles, typical sizes 380×90×90 and 360×130×90 mm, runs of 300–1,000 pcs — bag catalogue.
  • Packing the run — finished boxes go into corrugated cartons with dividers so the lot reaches the importer without scuffs.

Materials, finishing, insert

The body is 2–3 mm greyboard; for medium runs we also make micro-flute laminated boxes — lighter and cheaper with the same look. Wrapping: coated paper with offset printing, designer papers (linen, leather-look, metallic, soft touch). Finishing: hot foil stamping (gold, silver, coloured foil) — the winery’s logo, crest, vintage year; embossing, spot UV varnish, lamination, ribbon, magnetic closure. The insert for the bottle and glasses is designed in CAD: foam, izolon or a cardboard grid; surface — velvet or flock. Technology in detail — on the rigid boxes page.

Export marking

On the box and the shipping carton we print what the destination market requires: EAN barcode, product name, volume and alcohol content, country of origin, texts in the language of the destination market from the client’s artwork, recycling symbols. Printing in CMYK or Pantone to match the label; lot data and vintage year can be applied with a separate label or by foil stamping without changing the box run.

Example

For a Moldovan winery, in January–February 2026, we produced a 165×85×360 mm gift box — micro-flute lamination for one bottle, a run of 1,500 pieces; 12 days from the order entering production to the finished run (30.01–11.02.2026). Moldovan wineries and distilleries also work with us on other products — bags, catalogues, menus, calendars (clients include Cricova). More work in the “Gifts and souvenirs” section.

Wine packaging FAQ

What is the minimum order for wine boxes?

We accept small batches from a few dozen pieces — for a souvenir range or tasting sets; serial runs of hundreds and thousands are assembled on our lid-and-base line. The unit price drops noticeably from a few hundred pieces.

How long does production take?

Prototype — 30 minutes; the average lead time on our 2025–2026 orders is about two weeks after the artwork and prototype are approved. In 2026 we produced a run of 1,500 wrapped single-bottle boxes in 12 days after the order entered production.

Can you make a box for a specific bottle with an insert for glasses?

Yes: the insert is designed in CAD for your bottle and glasses from foam, izolon or cardboard, with a velvet or flock surface, and checked on a prototype before the run starts.

Is this packaging suitable for export?

Yes: we print the EAN barcode, volume, alcohol content, country of origin and texts in the language of the destination market from your artwork, and pack the run in corrugated cartons with dividers. Vintage year and lot data can be added with a separate label without changing the box run.

Which should I choose — a wooden case or a wrapped rigid box?

A wooden case is heavier and more expensive to ship, and decoration is limited to engraving and painting. A wrapped rigid box is lighter, allows full-colour printing, foil, embossing and a window, and costs less from a few hundred pieces.

What does the price of a wine box depend on?

On size, board thickness, wrapping paper, printing and finishing, magnet, window and insert; make-ready (structural design, dies, foil plates) is divided by the run. Send the bottle dimensions and the quantity — we return a quotation with options.
