Lid-and-base box 160×160×45 mm for jewelry with gold foil stamping

This lid-and-base gift box, 160×160×45 mm, is premium cardboard packaging for jewelry, custom made in Chisinau. The construction consists of two separate parts: a base that holds the jewelry piece and a lid that fits over it. It is the classic format of jewelry and gift packaging — clean, convenient and presentable.

The box is made of white designer cardboard with a density of 280 g/m² and a distinct embossed surface texture. What makes this order special is the complete absence of printing: the decorative qualities of designer cardboard are built into the material itself, so the noble white texture works on its own. The only accent is gold foil stamping on the lid — the logo and brand name with a mirror-like metallic shine and subtle relief.

Foil stamping is the finish that makes packaging truly premium. Hot stamping is performed with a custom-made die and transfers metallized foil onto the cardboard — an effect ordinary printing cannot achieve. For jewelry packaging, the combination of white textured cardboard and gold stamping is a proven solution: with minimal means it creates the feeling of an expensive product even before the box is opened.

Both blanks — the lid and the base — are laid out on a single sheet and die-cut in one pass using a custom cutting die designed to the exact dimensions of the product. Clients of the printing house also have access to a library of more than 3000 ready-made cutting dies: a suitable construction from the library saves the cost of new tooling, while for non-standard dimensions a die is made individually.
